“T-MINUS” – On the eve of his first launch into space, an astronaut recalls the tragedies and triumphs that delivered him to this life-altering moment.
A screening of this independently produced short film (14 min) will be followed by a panel discussion of its practical miniature effects with writer-director L.M. Oliver, model makers Bill Krause (Star Trek: Picard) and Sean Charlesworth (The Mandalorian), and space historian Jonathan Ward (Bringing Columbia Home), along with input from Michael Possert, Jr. (The Rocketeer) and VFX supervisor Stephen van Vuuren.
