We’re thrilled to welcome back director and film buff Joe Dante! Has it really been 21 years since his last WonderFest visit?

Joe’s here to help us celebrate the 40th anniversary of his most famous movie, Gremlins.

Whew! So many great movies. Scary, fun, quirky, and not Hollywood cookie-cutter films.

On TV, Joe directed episodes of Amazing Stories, The Twilight Zone, Police Squad! Night Visions, and Picture Windows. He also directed the network pilots for The Osiris Chronicles, and the series Eerie, Indiana, on which he was creative consultant throughout its run. He received Cable Ace nominations for his direction of Showtime’s Runaway Daughters and HBO’s The Second Civil War.

Joe is also known for his critically acclaimed webisode/mobile phone series, Trailers from Hell and popular podcast The Movies That Made Me.
